I am the Mom of the Bride

"Mom, I'm engaged!"

It all begun with those 3 uttered words. You know you've been married before. You had that wedding event planned for you. Now your little girl is getting married.

Being the mom of the bride is not an easy role, and it does not get easier not even if you have an event planner at your toes.

Even if she is her mother's daughter, planning the wedding will be the venue where most of the differences will be realized - the drastic difference of your daughter's own vision to yours.

But like we said, that the wedding industry has changed significantly over the years and still evolving. Where before, moms of the brides did most of the wedding planning, and what their visions of their daughters' dream wedding are on a checklist.

But wait, not all these changes are your disadvantage. Not saying that. With the hype of social media, networking, and micro blogging, you have yet to learn that equipping yourself with these things - will not only make your role easier but also will make you tweeting at no time, as the 'mom of the bride.'
